Michael Grohall

Michael Grohall is a writer, integrative massage therapist and activist. Interested in social transformation, he believes that “based on inertia, nothing is given to changing on its own, such as perceptions of same-sex marriage. At some point we need to step up to the plate and declare what we value while working toward raising consciousness.”

With over ten years experience as a holistic healer and spiritual coach, Grohall’s eclectic background includes training in a martial arts dojo (Dayton, OH), living for three years as a yogi and resident staff member of the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, and spending five years living in Provincetown, MA where he established BodyMind Massage. Currently, Grohall is writing a book about spirituality in the 21st century.

Grohall holds a Bachelor of Science from Lesley University and is pursuing his PhD in Transpersonal Psychology. This arm of science is concerned with full human awareness, the integration of psychological and spiritual experience, and the transcendence of self. Originally from Minnesota, Grohall resides in Jamaica Plain, MA.
